Job Description

Takapteb's Service engineer is someone who is able to concentrate intently on a required subject per a case. He has a good level of curiosity and eagerness to learn new things. He is also self-motivated and does his best to perform his duty well. Main responsibilities are as follows: • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with Takapoteb's products, support and service. • Complete all remedial service actions, standard system check and required hardware and software upgrades in accordance with approved policies and procedures. • Assist other engineers as necessary • Participate in preparing customer site for installation events and assembling medical devices. • Conduct advanced troubleshooting to repair, test and calibration procedure for instruments located at assigned clinical sites. • Schedule and manage preventive maintenance • Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues to his supervisor • Document repair /resolution of customer calls in CRM system and escalates issues to supervisor as needed. • Works with product application specialists to resolve quality issues and advise of issues and developments • Document all technical reports, calls, complaints and responses uses e-mail and telephone system in a timely and reasonable manner to ensure customer satisfaction. • Ensure instrumentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and quality control standards. Reporting to: Service supervisor Other interactions: Hospitals, Universities, Laboratories Desired start date: ASAP Working hours: 8 am to 5 pm Travel requirements: position will require 50% plus travel inside the country.

Requirements

Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering • Relevant work experience in the field and maintenance with good hand skills is preferred • Good knowledge in computer skills and networking • High levels of English proficiency • Good team player and willing to travel frequently • Customer oriented, can work under pressure and solve issues independently • Willing to work overtime and flexible hours to resolve customer issues • Military service should be completed or exempted Additional details: • This person will work out of home based office • Position will require 50 percent plus travel • There will be on-call duties • Overtime stays could be 2 or 3 nights during a week • Must be able to repetitively lift and carry product weighing approximately 15 Kg
