Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented senior sales accounting specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales accounting processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and providing critical financial insights to support the sales operations. Responsibilities:
- Practice professional accounting duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Regularly controlling all documents, collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
- Ensure compliance and consistency of financial reports coming from different teams.
- Play a key role in the planning processes as well as in the creation of strategic business cases.
- Interact constantly with other team members to improve the accuracy of financial reports.
- Fully take ownership of the Finance function and manage all finance operations.
- Ensure monthly closing deadlines are met and accurate reporting.
- Represent financial reports based on payments.
- Ensure tax and SSO compliance, VAT submissions, Tax returns, and quarterly sales reports.
- In charge of payments and ensuring that payments are in line with contract terms.
- Prepare interactive and useful financial reports.
- Optimize and implement payment processes.
- Reconcile AP/AR every quarter.
- Prepare any financial reports for the government and daily and weekly reports to the company.
Requirements:
- Support a proper culture of internal communication - open discussion, respectful relationships, and constructive feedback.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting software.
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office knowledge (especially Word and Excel).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
- Able to manage workload under pressure.
- Familiarity with start-up company culture and the e-commerce industry is an advantage.
