Job Description

● Finding resources for the purchase and supply the raw materials, equipment, and tools and negotiating with suppliers. ● Continuously and effectively comprising the dealers and proper negotiating to make sure the company gets the best possible prices and qualities on needed supplies. ● Planning and performing the required tasks to receive necessary approvals of the related authorities to import requirements of the company in terms of raw material and spare parts. ● Being in close communication with customs clearance authority to lead and providing any support necessary in order to clear the items in the shortest time. ● Sourcing for obtaining new suppliers in the best condition to add the number of the suppliers. ● Being responsible for all supplier’s affairs, such as responsible for correspondences, supplier’s shipment, delivery schedule, expenditure. ● Providing regular reports to related functions of the company. ● Ensuring lead times are met and providing root cause analysis for any delays. ● Developing and negotiating long-term relationships with strategic suppliers. ● Acquireing and effectively communicating market knowledge for materials and cost drivers in which suppliers participate. ● Assisting in the supplier selection process for products and services used by the company. ● Ensuring continued contract compliance. ● Conducting analysis and preparing reports on supplier performance metrics, conducts benchmarking studies, and tracking contract utilization. ● Working closely with the finance team on project cost management, month-end accruals. ● Monitoring suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries to support manufacturing, materials within quality standard specifications, costs, and discrepant materials are swiftly reconciled. ● Developing and negotiating long-term relationships with strategic suppliers, including suppliers. ● Acquiring and effectively communicating market knowledge for materials and cost drivers in which suppliers participate. ● Being accountable for setting and achieving agreed-upon financial and value optimization targets. ● Leading regular meetings with direct staff and cross-functional teams to ensure assignments, objectives, cost savings and deliverables are on target. ● Supporting new product development team in finding alternative and requested materials to support new product launches. ● Ensuring all Suppliers have received and agreed to comply with the company’s manual.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline is preferred ● 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, or a related field preferred. ● Market knowledge of materials and services purchased to support the civil industry. ● Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint ● Outstanding leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
