Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist who can analyze complex datasets, develop predictive and optimization models, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and hands-on data analytics, and can collaborate effectively with data engineering and product teams.



Responsibilities

Analyze and process data to generate meaningful insights for business teams
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models
Build, evaluate, and maintain predictive and optimization models
Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Product teams
Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data analysis
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing models
Document methodologies, experiments, and results


Required Skills

Strong command of **statistics and probability**
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, including:
XGBoost
Random Forest
Logistic Regression and other standard models

Proficiency in SQL (query writing, optimization, data manipulation)
Strong Python skills, especially with libraries such as:
NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn

Familiarity with data engineering concepts*and ability to work with data pipelines


Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Learning to Rank methods
Experience with pricing models or pricing-related projects
Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Spark or Hive
Experience building or maintaining data pipelines
