Requirements
Education:
● Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from a reputable university.
Qualifications:
● Familiarity with the application of common analytical instruments (e.g. HPLC, GC, GC/MS, IR, UV-Vis, etc.) in the characterization of drugs, essential oil, herbal extracts, chemical, reactions products, and byproducts.
● At least 3-5 years relevant experience in an industrial or academic laboratory setting especially pharmaceutical industries.
● Experience with herbal medicines and compounds.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Computer literacy including the ability to use software to prepare and revise reports and documents, analyze and present data, and model chemical concepts.
● Ability to work with pharmacopeia (USP, BP, Ph. Eur.), standard methods.
● Ability to work cooperatively and supportively with a broad range of individuals with different levels of education and experience.
● Respond positively and effectively to rapidly changing priorities and departmental needs.
