Job Description

• Isolate and maintain cultures of bacteria or other microorganisms in prescribed or developed media, controlling moisture, aeration, temperature, and nutrition. • Study growth, structure, development, and general characteristics of bacteria and other microorganisms to understand their relationship to the human, plant, and animal health. • Examine physiological, morphological, and cultural characteristics, using a microscope, to identify and classify microorganisms in human, water, and food specimens. • Monitor and perform tests on water, food, and the environment to detect harmful microorganisms or to obtain information about sources of pollution, contamination, or infection. • Study the structure and function of human, animal, and plant tissues, cells, pathogens, and toxins. • Mastering microbial tests and ability to update methods. • Maintenance of analytical instruments. Mastering the basic details of the microbial lab and the sensitivity of work in this environment. Relative familiarity with PCR science. • Familiar with the principles of quality assurance and compliance with its requirements in the laboratory environment • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. • Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on the appropriateness of data for release. • Perform visual inspections of finished products. • Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses. • Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms. • Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment. • Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions. •Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments, vendors, or contractors. •Coordinate testing with contract laboratories and vendors. •Write or revise standard quality control operating procedures. •Develop and qualify new testing methods. • Ability to provide accurate reports and data in accordance with defined criteria. • Ability to analyze situations at the time of complaints and identify appropriate corrective action.

Requirements

• MS/Ph.D. in microbiology or Biology, BSc/ MSc in Food Science & Technology or related science. • University: Top-Ranked Universities in Iran • Gender: male/female • Age: Upper age limit for candidates is 32 years • Free (Done/ Exemption) from I.R.I. Military Service duty for male candidates. • Having proficiency and knowledge in classical and current microbial techniques. • Preferred to have less than 2 years' experience in quality control and food industries, fresh graduated is also accepted. • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Persian. • Having good listening skills. • Having in-depth knowledge of general laboratory techniques and computer skills and math. Understanding Statistics, Being accurate in data entry and having legible handwriting. • Familiarity with organizational relationships and behavior. • Friendly/Good Personality, good teamwork skill.
