Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Supply Manager, someone who will guide our purchasing team with the goal of optimally supplying materials and in line with the company's macro plans and goals. This person is responsible for planning and supervising matters related to the supply of required materials, evaluating suppliers, quality control of materials, etc., which is done by the supply team. A purchasing and supply manager, basically buys materials and takes a strategic approach to business goals. As the Purchasing & Supply Manager, your duties will include: - Day to day Management of the supply team - Develop and improve current purchasing strategies - Management of suppliers - Monitor and measure key KPI to help reduce costs - Managing purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks - Work with Manufacturing, Production Support, Sales and R&D teams to ensure quality, price, on time delivery of raw materials - Evaluate current supplier base and work with the team to ensure best price, support and quality required of raw materials - Perform benchmarking and value analysis across the current supply chain - Lead negotiations across the supply chain to drive cost saving - Manage risks and variances due to market conditions , material costs and levels of demands to help protect the business - Develop supplier relationships to improve reliability , efficiency and quality - Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs - Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications - Working to improve purchasing systems and processes -Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system And other responsibilities as needed or assigned..

Requirements

- +5 years minimum professional Management experience in a procurement/purchasing/buying role - Experience of managing a team - Master's degree in Business or related field is preferred - Understanding of fat industry - In depth experience of MRP and supply chain - Proven negotiation skills and knowledge of establishing supplier agreements/pricing strategies - Detail oriented with good negotiation skills and commercial acumen. - Working knowledge of common ERP systems - High attention to detail and able to multitask - Excellent communication skills - Strong problem solving and decision-making skills - Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure - Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of all aspects of supply chain - Strong Project Management skills
