Job Description
• Identify opportunities for new products • Analyze how a new product ties in production process • Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners • Research materials and techniques • Sketch drafts on paper or digitally ( for example, Using CAD ) • Improve the design of existing products • Inspect and monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications, standards and / or company requirements. • Utilize CAD/Solid works/CATIA to modify and improve product and part drawings and designs as required Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday 7:30 am -05:03 pm.
Requirements
• Understand and utilize Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, Design of Experiments, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis tools. • Familiar with wood industry. • Work experience as a Product Designer or similar role • Good knowledge of 3D modeling software (especially solid work) • Familiarity with Sheet Metal technology and wood industrial • At least 4 years of relevant work experience • Ability to use Solid Works/ CATIA software • BSc/MSc in Mechanical engineer. (Design, Solids or Manufacturing trends)
