Your new role
As Procurement Professional/ Purchaser, you are responsible for Operational Procurement with focus on Indirect spend Items. The local sourcing responsibilities include managing and coordinating all pre-requisites of procurement to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply issues, with primary duties such as receiving orders from requesters, obtaining and verifying quotations, placing purchase orders, tracking them considering manufacturer lead times, expediting delivery processes, coordinating with couriers, ensuring shipment information matches pack lists.
Your responsibilities will mainly be as follows:
• Oversee the purchasing process from request to supplier selection and order placement, participate in cost optimization projects and manage purchasing plans as well as supporting the ERP system establishment and stock control, and assist in other sourcing activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, business ethics, and quality system rules.
• Monitor local market trends and manage the supplier approval process.

The LMT site is located in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province and went into operation in 2020 and has 160 employees in total. The manufacturing site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo Nordisk’s FlexPen® sold in Iran with modern insulins.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Over 5 years of experience in similar positions within highly regulated industries, specifically in procurement/purchasing
• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems will be an advantage
• Proficiency in English at Upper-Intermediate level
• Demonstrates an agile mindset and a high level of responsibility in managing tasks and stakeholder relationships
