Job Description
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Build strong relationships to ensure performance and compliance with contracts.
Contract Negotiation:
- Negotiate terms and service level agreements (SLAs) with outsourcing partners, including pricing, timelines, and quality standards.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and assess vendor performance through KPIs (e.g., cost, delivery time, quality).
- Initiate corrective actions if standards are not met.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all outsourced operations comply with regulatory standards, company policies, and product quality requirements.
Cost Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through outsourcing without compromising on quality.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work closely with R&D, production planning, logistics, and finance to align outsourcing strategies with business goals.
Risk Management:
- Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying vendors and ensuring business continuity plans are in place.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation related to contracts, performance reports, and vendor audits.
