
Job Description
The optimization project lead will play a significant role in driving sales and conversion, by creating a best-in-class customer experience on-site. The responsibilities are product set-up and promotions operations. In addition, developing and executing visual merchandising strategy for the site that engages and drives revenue. Roles: ● Develop merchandising plans based on customer insights, brand strategy, e-commerce goals, and initiatives to achieve substantial uplifts in revenue, site conversion, and average order size, improve user experience, and enhance product discovery and content. ● Responsible for the management and day-to-day trading of a category or categories online, including maintenance of category landing pages and other relevant sites in real estate. ● Work closely with the category managers and commercial manager to define, agree and execute sales and promotional plans. ● Monitor site search and navigation on the site, making sure that it is fully optimized and making suggestions and implementing these to improve the customer journey, whilst understanding the commercial impact of these changes. ● Ensure all products are beautifully and strategically merchandised across the site in category listing pages, designer listing pages, and trend pages. ● Analyze weekly and daily performance of the platform across funnels, Conversion rates, and features performance, provide insights, and drive day-to-day optimization across all platforms. ● Define and prepare proposals for new projects and follow them up with the tech team. ● Utilize reporting (conversion, funnel, etc.) data and analytics to improve business performance and inform merchandising strategies to drive growth. ● Drive business success through crafting growth, acquisition, and monetization strategies, optimizing user journeys, performing A/B testing, and launching optimized product features. ● Develop and execute the conversion rate optimization plans which include research, test ideation and hypothesis, testing roadmap, design and development, execution, reporting, and analytics.
Requirements
● 2 to 3 years of related experience (e.g. as a business analyst, process analyst, product analyst, product manager, or product owner). ● Proficient in SQL and Google Analytics. ● Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required. ● Proactive and highly motivated team player. ● Detail-orientated, deadline-driven, and able to multi-task with solid organizational and time-management skills. ● Experience in retail, e-commerce, and FMCG is desirable.
