Job Description

We are looking for an operations technician for our Rudeshour Power Plant with the following tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for monitoring plant condition in the field, taking readings, conducting/resetting isolation measures, and respond to emergencies.
Monitor plant condition in the field.
Take readings, maintain field records.
Conduct isolation measures.
Reset isolation measures (Normalization System).
Respond to emergencies.
Carry out minor repair works.
Utilize computerized Plant Management System BFS++ when reporting faults and performing work on-site.
Continuously improve technical knowledge by attending training courses and obtaining additional job-related licenses.
Support other departments wherever practical and possible.
Comply with work plan, plant safety regulations, and engineering procedures.

Requirements

A technical college degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 3 years of working experience in power plant operations or industrial plants.
Working experience as a Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine Operator.
MBOB and EBOP Operator (Gas station, F.O. forwarding, F.O. unloading, 6.6 KV feeders, Firefighting, HVAC).
400KV substation operator.
Ability to analyze and rectify faults.
BFS++ (plant management knowledge) for FN/WO/WP module.
Familiar with MS Office.
Effective communication skills.
Familiar with English.
