POSITION SNAPSHOT

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nutrition Operations Manager is responsible for, in strict compliance with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and local country codes, managing the overall Infant Nutrition operations in a given country or countries, ensuring that business objectives are met in line with the strategy established for Infant Nutrition in the Middle East market. Assist in setting strategies based on insights of local consumer, customer, regulatory, and healthcare system environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Develop category vision, objectives, and supporting strategies for MBS and Dynamic Forecast for the country.
  • Achieve the set business objectives for Market shares, value, volume, RIG, MC, and COP1 for the category of his country.
  • Review the category performance and provide directions for corrective measures.
  • Implement with the Field Operation Manager of medical field operations strategy including the activities of the Nestlé Nutrition Institute.
  • Develop and implement of sales and distribution strategies in coordination with the Head of Sales and Head of CCSD.
  • Initiate and coordinate major business projects such as new business launches (innovation) or business improvement.
  • Coordinate with/ and support the country Regulatory Affairs Manager for all issues about registration, regulatory approval, and issues management for Nestlé Nutrition
  • Periodically review structure and recommend changes for improved effectiveness and anticipation of future requirements of the business.
  • Ensure personal development of all direct reports through the use of feedback, coaching, PDP, and check-in on both functional and leadership aspects. Ensure proper development plans are in place and healthy succession plans for key positions.
  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes and Nestle Instructions and local country codes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, Biology, or Business.
  • 6 to 8 years of previous experience in medical field operations, sales, and/or marketing.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Strategic mindset.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Passion for innovation and drive to explore new processes and products to drive growth and change.
