Job Description

New Business & SME Manager The New Business & SME Manager identifies and contacts new potential clients with the aim to convert them into contracted accounts for the Lufthansa Group. She/he processes pre-qualified sales leads and registers new accounts in the different loyalty SME programs offered. The New Business & SME Manager is responsible for: Handle the sales lead pipeline and reply to incoming call appointments, if applicable. Prioritize sales leads from collated pre-qualified lists of potential call targets. Analyze corporate databases to identify potential call targets. Prepare sales calls before contacting a sales lead according to available call scripts and other templates. Conduct a ‘welcome call’ for new contracted customers. Log and document outcome of sales calls in provided templates in LH Group CRM sales tools and prepare for follow-up. Process converted sales leads in the LH Group CRM tool and review/close-ongoing sales leads. Re-activate corporate accounts in portfolio and ensure engagement. Follow up on open sales leads and inactive corporate accounts. * Takeover of additional tasks when is required.

Requirements

The ideal New Business & SME Manager must fulfill the following requirements: High school certificate, A level/ Abitur or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree desirable. Professional experience desirable. English required. German desirable. Expert knowledge desirable. Computer literate as user. Good analytical skills. Excellent entrepreneurial / commercial mindset. Strong ability to manage complexity. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent independent and proactive approach. Good problem solving / solution oriented. Excellent service / customer orientation. Strong cooperation skills / team player. Good structured / systematic approach / process orientation. Excellent professional and confident manner. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
