Job Description

- As a Mobile Application Developer, you will join our fast-growing, diverse development team, building highly-scalable, highly-available, and next-generation mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least: 1or more years of hands-on mobile application development experience. 2 or more years in software/web development, overall. - Strong proficiency with other technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, working with APIs, and various other web services are a must, as well. - In addition, the ideal candidate must be prepared to: Work in a friendly, diverse environment. Work on interesting technical problems that require creative solutions. Work collaboratively with other talented web/application developers, project managers. and QA teams. Cultivate an environment of creativity, innovation, opportunity, responsibility. and flexibility. Actively participate in solution development, for the required application(s), in all stages of design, specification gathering, implementation, and validation. Guide code development, from requirements throughout the deployment. Meet with internal and external stakeholders to create and drive design, planning, development, analysis, and specifications requirements/constraints, as well as provide time estimates and solutions to user-centered design problems.

Requirements

Education, Experience and Skills Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science - or equivalent experience. - 1 year, minimum, experience in developing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android). - Practical knowledge of object-oriented programming and design, with extensive knowledge and proven, demonstrable experience in any of the following technologies and tools: Objective-C, swift, Java Git and GitHub workflow Apache Subversion HTML5, CSS JSON, XML JavaScript Frameworks - JQuery, JQuery Mobile, AJAX Web Services - REST, SOAP, OAuth SOA Integration - Exposure to, or hands-on experience with, location-based services (GPS). - Experience working with Agile Development (Scrum and Kanban), continuous integration, and software quality metrics, and automated testing (UI and unit testing) for iOS and Android. - Experience and knowledge of mobile device management, deployment, and distribution. - Excellent knowledge in mobile software architecture and design patterns. - Experience working with published SDKs, from Apple and Google. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
