About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Managing Director (MD) to lead and expand the operations of our client’s organization. This role requires a leader with strong business development experience, capable of identifying growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue expansion.
The Managing Director will play a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy, strengthening market presence, and leading business development initiatives across target markets. By combining strategic thinking with strong execution skills, the MD will ensure the organization continues to grow, remain competitive, and capture new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
Develop and execute the company’s business growth strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the organization’s footprint.
Lead business development initiatives including market expansion, strategic alliances, and new client acquisition.
Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to support informed strategic decisions.
Operational Leadership
Oversee day‑to‑day business operations and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
Establish clear performance goals and ensure effective execution across business units.
Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
Market Development & Client Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Lead high‑level negotiations and support the development of long‑term commercial partnerships.
Strengthen the organization’s market position through proactive client engagement and market intelligence.
Financial Performance & Growth
Oversee financial performance including revenue growth, budgeting, and cost management.
Identify investment opportunities and ensure sustainable business expansion.
Monitor financial and operational performance metrics to ensure targets are achieved.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing leadership team.
Foster a performance‑driven culture focused on growth, collaboration, and accountability.
Support talent development and organizational capability building.
What You Bring
Proven leadership experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or senior executive role.
Strong track record in business development, market expansion, and revenue growth.
Experience identifying and securing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
Strong financial and commercial understanding, including budgeting and performance management.
Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and operational leadership abilities.
