The LMT site is located in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province went into operation in 2020 and has 160 employees in total. The manufacturing site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo Nordisk’s FlexPen® sold in Iran with modern insulin (NovoRapid®, NovoMix®30, Levemir®) and Victoza®.

The position:

The quality assurance (QA) associate manager is responsible for leading a team of 11 dedicated people. The performance of the team is about the Quality Assurance of the organization's GMP-regulated processes and tasks. Ensuring procedures, standards, processes, and systems are adhered to and aligned with LMT Quality objectives. All are based on Novo Nordisk and industry best practice standards. Moreover:

  • The team is responsible for assessing quality and compliance regarding batch product records and batch control report review, including assessing the impact of any deviation or change on compliance of the batch with GMP and the Marketing authorization.
  • People leader for the Quality Assurance Team and ensure that the local QA organization is motivated and being developed in a quality mindset and NN way of working.
  • Setting and following annual department objectives per set LMT objectives and QA objectives.
  • Handle QA employees’ managerial tasks including Job descriptions, development planning, Feedback sessions, performance review, and annual salary/bonus.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Science Chemistry Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years of managerial working history in the pharma industry, QA, R&D, or production.Experience with people management.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions in difficult settings.
  • Demonstrate proactive stakeholder management at all levels.
  • Ability to receive feedback and act upon it to improve oneself.
  • Full working proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.Working at Novo Nordisk:
