Job Description

The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the laboratory and its technical team. The Laboratory Manager will be ensuring all services are being complete to 17025 standards, and will be directly responsible for a variety of chemical, mechanical and analytical tests on a diverse range of products. & also need to ensure the laboratory maintains its ISO 17025 accreditation, and the successful individual will need to have a strong background within this area. ensuring effectiveness of quality management system and compliance with ISO17025 accreditation - Overseeing tests done on raw materials and packaging to ensure standard quality - Overseeing tests on finished products (chemical, physical, and microbial) to ensure standard compatibility - Arranging for calibration of lab equipment and ensuring their sound performance - Answering customer complaints Overseeing tests in production line -Set up analysis methods and carry out the validation procedures Ensure the lab establishes and maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affect quality results Manage reporting, monitoring, resources, and laboratory personnel Modifies Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions Performs other duties as assigned
