Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Business Requirements Alignment:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Ensure that all digital platform initiatives directly support and enhance organizational objectives.
  • Technical Validation, Solution Assessment & RFP Evaluation
  • Evaluate and validate proposed solution documents, including vendor responses to RFPs, to ensure they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Assess new integration proposals and verify that proposed technologies align with best practices and operational standards.

Integration & Implementation Oversight

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement digital platform solutions.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new solutions with existing systems, maintaining interoperability and data consistency.
  • Capacity Planning, Performance Optimization & High Availability
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to ensure digital platforms maintain sufficient capacity.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, uptime, and throughput to guarantee high availability and reliability.
  • Implement strategies that enhance system efficiency while ensuring scalability.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

  • Lead the coordination of internal technical teams to promptly investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents reported by vendors.
  • Utilize comprehensive log analysis—including application and Linux logs—and system diagnostics to identify and remedy issues swiftly.

Technical Expertise & Support:

  • Provide hands-on technical support across multiple domains, including programming, system architecture design, and database management (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Ensure proficient use of API protocols and adherence to DevOps practices, leveraging automation tools to maintain platform stability.
  • Stay current with emerging IT technologies and best practices to keep the digital platforms state-of-the-art.

Vendor Coordination & Supervision:

  • Act as the primary liaison between external vendor teams and internal groups.
  • Oversee vendor-provided solutions to ensure compliance with quality, security, and performance standards while maintaining open communication channels.

Contractual Compliance & Oversight:

  • Monitor all vendor and supplier activities to strictly adhere to contractual obligations, including service level agreements (SLAs) and deliverables.
  • Enforce standards that align vendor operations with business requirements.


Documentation & Continuous Updates:

  • Maintain comprehensive and regularly updated documentation covering all changes, activities, and decisions related to digital platforms.
  • Ensure that technical documents, integration guides, and operating procedures reflect current system configurations and best practices.

Project Methodology Application:

  • Apply project management methodologies to guide the effective implementation of new technologies and processes.
  • Adapt project delivery approaches based on business needs and technological advances.
  • Evaluate the risk of projects and follow a demand management principle for the implementation of changes.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Continuously assess global digital technology trends and implement new tools and practices to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Ensure that the digital platforms leverage the latest technologies and robust architectural methodologies, with minimal data gaps, to drive operational efficiency and scalability.

Performance Reporting & Traffic Analysis:

  • Define, track, and report on service traffic and platform performance KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Produce and present regular performance reports to the line manager and relevant stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related fields.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the area of specialization, with experience in supervising others.
  • Experience working in a medium-sized organization.
