Job Description

Administer and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues to minimize downtime and ensure maximum efficiency.
Install, configure, and upgrade software, hardware, and operating systems as needed.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, and software issues promptly and effectively.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure data security and privacy.
Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data.
Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate measures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in IT systems administration.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or equivalent, will be advantageous.
