Supporting the project boards (where constituted)/program office to ensure that all business/IT projects deliver the strategic goals of the business and enable the development of capabilities, streamlining processes (where applicable), driving change, and providing a competitive edge through innovation ensuring alignment with IT strategy.
Ensure strategic alignment of activities/initiatives and proactively identify and drive opportunities for value creation through process enhancement, innovation, and better decision support capabilities.
Help set priorities for the design and delivery of business IT systems solutions, and assure successful delivery of those solutions.
Support and manage the interests of the business for all IT-related issues relating to the performance and contribution of the IT function.
Improve productivity and increase business competitive edge by leveraging technology.
Support and coordinate IT-related business enhancement activities to ensure continued speed, direction, implementation, and benefits achievement in line with business objectives.
Manage the business IT portfolio of projects and change requests, ensuring the measurement of the value created against agreed plans and feedback on their success, issues, and opportunities.
Engage in open, effective, and mature conversation at all levels of the organization to give input, share knowledge, and learn within a team context.
Build trust and establish authentic relationships through own behaviors and actions to enhance relationships between business and IT.
Acts as an effective BAT PARS spokesperson in dealing with external stakeholders (IT associations and core IT suppliers).
Engage with others per BAT PARS business and guiding principles.
Network and liaise effectively with Management in business and IT.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT Management, or Industrial Engineering with IT background.
3 to 5 years of related experience (FMCG background is a plus).
Experience in sales and distribution system implementation or support is preferred.
Experience in application development and support is an advantage.
Experience in SQL and databases is an advantage.
Experience in project management (PRINCE 2, PMBOK) and ITIL is an advantage.
English fluency.Strong business analysis and creative thinking together with high credibility when operating outside the IT function.
Strong in problem-solving and handling situations that are critical for the business and IT systems.
Expertise in applying business and data analysis techniques, having a practical understanding of systems development methodology.
Understanding integrated business processes and the functional interdependencies involved.
