
Job Description
Management of the supply chain of chemicals to and from Europe, Africa and Asia. - Analysis and creation of required supply chain policies and procedures for relevant regions. - Coordinate with supplier to prepare shipments, arrange documents, clearing, insurance and transport including various kinds of hazardous cargo. - Ensure compliance to national and international regulation. - Ensure timely transit and delivery of the cargo to its final destination. - Close monitoring of all cargo in transit for current position and proactively solve problems that may occur. - Relationship management with clearing agents, customs officials, freight forwarders, warehouses and operational teams of suppliers and customers. - Proactively search for new partners and build new transport routes. - Contract management: negotiate, fully administrate and well document contracts with all parties. - Create reports for management presenting legislation, regulations and pricing. - Exercise effective cost control and seek efficiency gains for the company. Requirements
This is you - You have / are a bachelor degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related fields; - Up to date with international trade and custom laws; - At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain management; - Proactive and persistent; - Excellent planning, problem solving and time management skills; - Fluent in Farsi and English (written and spoken); - Turkish, Arabic, German. Chinese are considered big plusses; - Strong analytical and project management skills; - Attentive and accurate in your execution of tasks; - A confident and strong personality and are a good team player; - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; - You live in Tehran.
