Job Description
We are looking for a chief accountant for our office in Tehran. This position is established to make sure that all company performances are aligned with the statutory requirements of local authorities as well as corporate policies.
Roles:
- Monitor accurate management of full statutory accounts.
- Ensure payment approval for vendors according to payment due dates.
- Reconciles account balance with vendors every month in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for all treasury affairs and ensuring on-time payments.
- Responsible as a contact person during the audit process and coordinates finalizing the financial statements.
- Control audit reports with all related financial documents to ensure there is no discrepancy.
- Control and prepare tax returns, seasonal reports, and VAT returns of the company.
- Send and follow up on prepared tax returns to the tax office timely and upon receiving related receipts.
- Assist in all company insurance and worker’s compensation insurance renewals.
