Job Description

We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented general accounting senior specialist with strong knowledge of Iranian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting practices. The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership capabilities, technical expertise in financial accounting, and the ability to ensure compliance with local laws and standards (incl. the Iranian Commercial Code, Direct Taxation Act, and Social Security Regulations).

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly consolidated financial statements in compliance with Iranian Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS-based, where applicable)
• Monthly closing of general and subsidiary ledgers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled
• Monthly review, reconciliation, and finalization of account balances, including intercompany accounts within the group
• Compilation and submission of the monthly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement
• Registering accounting documents during the month and approving relevant payments
• Approving company statements in the taxpayer system
• Updating and controlling company cost centers
• Doing other requested matters as referred by the relevant manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Full proficiency in Iranian tax laws, Value-Added Tax (VAT) procedures, labor law, social security regulations, and statutory financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Rahkaran, Pardazeshgaran, or other ERP systems).
• High attention to detail, accountability, and ethical commitment.
• Team-oriented with a systematic approach and passion for process improvement and staff development.
