Job Description

● Establish and monitor adequate internal controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets. ● Maintain accurate and timely preparation of financial and operating information and provide analysis, interpretations, and projections of all business units. ● Provide financial input into the formulation and implementation of the strategic plan, company budgets, and all outlooks or forecasts. ● Maximize cash flow performance of the company business. ● Take charge of profitability analysis and budget/forecast planning and policy manual compliance. ● Take charge of the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. ● Prepare and/or review daily, weekly and monthly reports in accordance with the reporting calendars and finance policy manual and ensure that all reports are submitted on a timely basis and accurately. ● Handle internal/external audits as well as tax-related matters to prepare the information as requested by the concerned parties. ● Support business units by identifying opportunities for process improvements with recommendations for implementation. ● Monitor the invoice and collection process for business units. ● Participate in the recruitment and evaluation of the finance and accounting department’s team members. ● Take charge of motivating and improving the employee’s attitude, discipline, sense of belonging, sense of responsibility, and knowledge to maximize productivity and reduce team member turnover, and to ensure that all sections of the finance and accounting department’s team members are functioning properly and efficiently. ● Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the financial manager or any other person designated by them.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Management, or related fields. ● At least 10 years of hands-on experience in financial management. ● Experience in home appliances companies would be a plus; a background in consumer goods and FMGC, manufacturing, or retail industries would be acceptable. ● Strong communication skills with the ability to make contact with all levels within the company and each business unit. ● Fluency with MS Office.
