Job Description

As financial controller within Roche Diagnostics Iran, you serve as the key business partner to the commercial organization. You leverage your in-depth business understanding combined with profound financial expertise to drive forward initiatives that are critical to delivering the company’s strategy. You build networks across the organization to share best practices and co-create solutions that create value for patients, the local affiliate, and the global organization. You act as a sparring partner, challenger, and decision supporter for your business partners in finance as well as in the commercial organization to ensure efficient resource allocation, compliant and effective operations, and profitable and sustainable growth of the business. This full-time position is located in Tehran, Iran, and reports to the head of finance and logistics of Roche Diagnostics Iran. Key Responsibilities: ● Partner with the business and support the management of external stakeholders such as distributors or government authorities. ● Support the commercial team in driving successful business (e.g. pricing, contract management, negotiation, project profitability analysis). ● Stay abreast of and scan the internal/external business landscape for trends, issues, and opportunities to create value. ● Provide financial analysis, modeling, consultation, transparency, and insights to make good business decisions and achieve business objectives. ● Work with other regional and global finance colleagues to provide strategic input and data analytics. ● Balance resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on the financial implications of proposed business activities. ● Track costs to ensure targeted business results and metrics; advise on corrective actions. ● Serve as a knowledge connector across business areas, functions, divisions, and geographical areas. ● Identify and support process improvement initiatives. ● Participate as a proactive member in above-country innovation sprints. ● Ensure internal and external financial compliance across the affiliate.

Requirements

● Strong business and financial acumen combined with business partnership experience. ● Effective communication and influencing skills. ● Strong presentation and negotiation skills. ● More than five years of relevant work experience in multinational companies (preferably in the healthcare sector). ● Solid understanding of management and financial accounting as well as corporate finance. ● Strong analytical skills including business modeling and scenario analysis to turn data into insights. ● Ability to work in agile and international structures. ● Entrepreneurial, commercial, innovative, and customer-centric mindset. ● An inclusive and collaborative way of working in an international environment. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. ● Fluent in English and Farsi. ● Profound experience in working with SAP.
