Job Description

This role's responsibilities are: Leading the financial function to ensure that financial records are in compliance with international requirements, company policies and procedures to generate accurate financial reports whenever needed. Managing the cash resources of the organization to ensure the most efficient cash management and to ensure the availability of funds when required by the business. Working with senior management to evaluate profitability of existing and new projects including unit margins, gross profits and overhead costs. Preparing monthly statements reflecting financial position, cash flow, job costing, net income and performance to budget by business line. Working with senior management in preparing strategic plans and forecasts and identify potential revenue opportunities. Developing the skills of the finance team members through training and coaching. Monitoring and controlling the departmental budget through planning expenditure and efficiently utilizing resources to gain maximum return on investment. Investigating variances from budget and historical trends and provide analysis of the same. Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
