Job Description

The finance and control manager acts as a key advisor to the managing director on major strategic and operational issues.

Responsibilities:

  • A key player in the monthly business planning process, providing transparency and direction toward target achievement at any time in the process.
  • Facilitate the dynamic forecast process.
  • Provide strong business information analysis to support sound business decision-making, as well as the reliable measurement of selected KPIs.
  • Promote the use of external and internal information for benchmarking.
  • Review monthly performance and identify areas of risk and opportunities, and manage for the achievement of targets.
  • Work closely with technical and production; co-pilot to investigate and action potential developing opportunities for products (i.e., make or buy, sales/production volumes management).
  • Drive cost optimization mindset within the business, including TDC Targeted Savings, strong MOGE control, and PFME Investment (Pre and Post Evaluations), and promote the culture of Return on Invested Capital on CAPEX-related topics (whenever relevant), including post evaluation of CAPEX projects.
  • Drive product portfolio optimization.
  • Support Business Innovation and Renovation pipeline, including development of Manufacturing and sales, and distribution structure modeling, and follow-up.
  • MBS (Market Business Strategy): Participate actively in the strategy development and provide associated scenario planning to optimize shareholder value.
  • Responsible for the company's financials includes the following, among others:
  1. Financial accounting (GL + AR + AP), including required internal and external closings.
  2. Treasury management, including bank signatory.
  3. Tax management (income taxes, VAT, and all other types of taxes).
  4. Fixed assets and CAPEX management.
  5. Financial inputs on all the company's contracts.
  6. In charge of all IG transactions (loans, payables, receivables), including GLAs.
  7. Preparing OPL, outlooks, and dynamic forecasting.
  • Actively supports the business to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (fiscal, legal, taxes, reporting), leading a compliance culture and mindset within the company.

Requirements:

  • 8 years of managerial experience in accounting and finance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields.
  • Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good analytical skills, strong business acumen.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Experience of participating in/leading cross-functional projects/teams.
  • Professional finance qualification (CA/CIMA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Familiarity with Rahkaran is an advantage.
