Job Description

Job Summary:
The Engineering & Technical Manager will be responsible for leading all engineering, maintenance, utilities, and technical services within the pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The position ensures continuous improvement, equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and implementation of technical projects in alignment with GMP and corporate standards.

Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and supervise the engineering and maintenance teams across production, utilities, and facility areas.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure high equipment availability.
Manage the calibration, qualification, and validation of equipment and utilities according to GMP requirements.
Oversee utility systems such as HVAC, purified water, steam, and compressed air to ensure continuous and compliant operation.
Plan and execute engineering projects, including new installations, modifications, and energy optimization initiatives.
Prepare and manage the annual engineering and maintenance budget.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, MOH, GMP, HSE).
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, and HSE departments to ensure equipment and facilities meet quality and safety standards.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for technical deviations.
Manage relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in technical operations.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (preferably from a reputable university).
Minimum 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of GMP, utilities systems (HVAC, WFI, Steam, Compressed Air), and validation processes.
Proven experience in project management and budgeting.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD, CMMS systems).
