POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who operates at the intersection of product leadership, technical leadership, and business understanding.
This role requires someone who can think and act at a high level—aligning engineering execution with product strategy and business objectives—while maintaining strong technical judgment and organizational clarity.

The Engineering Manager is expected to understand complex technical systems across multiple domains, communicate effectively with senior leaders beyond engineering, and ensure that technology decisions support long-term product direction and business outcomes.

This is a role for a leader who combines deep technical understanding and strong business insight, and can confidently operate with senior stakeholders across the organization.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

Work closely with Product Leads and Tech Leads to align priorities and execution on a daily basis
Balance product requirements, technical constraints, and business objectives in real-time decisions
Lead and coordinate multiple specialized engineering teams across different technical domains
Review and challenge technical decisions to ensure alignment with long-term architecture and business goals
Communicate complex technical trade-offs to senior non-technical stakeholders
Influence and align senior managers across product, business, and operations
Ensure delivery quality, technical health, and execution momentum across teams


SKILLS

Technical Depth & Breadth
Broad, hands-on understanding of multiple programming languages, stacks, and architectural paradigms
Ability to evaluate technical decisions across diverse engineering domains (backend, frontend, data, infrastructure, etc.)
Sufficient technical depth to challenge assumptions, review decisions, and guide technical leaders
Strong systems-level thinking and architectural judgment

Engineering Leadership
Experience managing multiple specialized engineering teams with different technical focuses
Ability to lead and align Tech Leads and senior engineers across domains
Strong capability in setting technical standards, delivery expectations, and execution discipline
Ownership of delivery quality, scalability, and technical health

Product & Business Understanding
Strong understanding of product strategy, business objectives, and industry context
Ability to translate business goals into executable technical and product priorities
Comfort making trade-offs between speed, quality, cost, and long-term value
Experience working closely with Product Leaders to shape roadmaps and execution plans

Executive Communication & Influence
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical senior stakeholders
Proven ability to influence and align senior managers across different functions (product, business, operations, marketing, etc.)
Confidence in representing engineering perspectives in executive-level discussions

Management & Decision-Making
Strong decision-making under ambiguity and competing priorities
Ability to balance people leadership, technical judgment, and business needs
Accountability mindset with ownership of outcomes, not just processes
