Job Description

Harrots Group is seeking a skilled Automation Engineering Manager to drive excellence in project planning and controlling within the oil and gas production, oil refining, and petrochemicals industry. This role involves overseeing automation projects, ensuring efficient and innovative solutions in line with industry standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of automation systems in alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, ensuring resources are efficiently allocated and timelines are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address automation challenges and opportunities.
- Maintain strong focus on safety, security, and reliability in automation processes and systems.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives, incorporating the latest technologies and methodologies into projects.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment by mentoring and supporting engineering team members.
- Ensure compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards and secure system design practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronic, or Telecom.
- Proven experience in automation engineering management, particularly in project planning and control within relevant industries.
- Familiarity with IEC programming languages such as Structured Text and Ladder Logic.
- Proficient in model-based design, simulation tools, and system modeling.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cybersecurity standards and secure system design.
- Fluency in English, with Arabic as a plus.
