Job Description

General: - Design, calculation ,sizing and preparing the related documents for electrical parts and equipment in a process plant and for a EPC project , as well as reporting and providing useful and effective information and analysis to help Engineering Managers to decide on the direction realizing the goals of the project. Specific: - Study of Short circuit, Load flow, Motor Start and relay coordination and setting - Calculation of Earthing system, lightning protection , cable sizing , Indoor & outdoor lighting, DC&AC UPS Cathodic protection - Provide Single line diagram : MV, LV, UPS, Lighting panel, - Provide Layout for Telephone system, Socket outlet, CCTV system, Fire Alarm system, Busduct… - Monitoring and Controlling Project Time Schedule and keep up with project execution trend - Prepare MR , MTO and specification for electrical procurement - Technical and commercial evaluation of electrical procurement packages - Support of Construction team in site for site tasks from installation, wiring , termination, test and startup - Coordination with Project control for Controlling and updating all project executive Schedules including project time and cost control, project progress control, project scope control and change management - Coordination with Project control for Preparing and announcing a periodic action List, following up and ensuring that its activities begin including standard, access, tools and documentation - Preparing periodic control reports including causes of delays, analysis of delays and providing a remedial solution - Arrangement of regular project coordination meetings to review the latest status and update the project - Interact with project manager, project team and project sponsor - Coordination with Project control Preparation of Project Documents Control Index - Coordination with Project control Preparation of Project Procurement Control Index - Coordination with Project control Preparation of Project Construction Plan in connection with Project Construction Execution Plan
