Job Description

● Select and size suitable instruments model/type for each application/process. ● Participate in internal P&ID review meetings and ensure the correctness, applicability, and completeness of project P&IDs in terms of instruments, signals, and interlocks. ● Prepare relevant sections in technical proposals as per clients’ material requisitions. ● Check the compliance of the offered/purchased electrical items to the directives issued by ATEX and IEC for use in hazardous areas. ● Design and implement the arrangement and wiring of panels, in particular, LCP/LCS and JB. ● Oversee and control proper execution of cabling, cable trays routing, earthing within the skid boundaries of chemical injection packages as well as instruments tubing, hook-up, and installation. ● Contribute to the procurement of electrical and instrumentation products by producing MTO lists and checking the quotations against the customers’ specifications and referenced standards. ● Work closely with other technical disciplines to coordinate operations and activities. ● Prepare typical documents of the Electrical discipline for Oil and Gas projects including Electric Devices datasheets and Outline Drawings, Electric Load List, Local Control Panel Wiring Diagram and Layout Drawing, Local Control Station Wiring Diagram, and Layout Drawing, Cable Schedule, Spare Parts List, etc. ● Prepare typical documents of the I&C discipline for Oil and Gas projects including Instrument Junction Box datasheets and Outline Drawings, I/O List, Alarm List, Logic Diagrams, Spare Parts List, etc.
