Job Description
This role's responsibilities include (and are not limited to):
● Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
● Interact with sales, marketing, and sales customer service to understand demand forecast drivers.
● Devise solutions in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
● Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
● Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts while helping reduce inventory/ working capital and minimize forecast variability.
● Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective, flexible, and durable mitigation strategies.
● Analyze and troubleshoot demand-related issues in a timely and accurate manner.
● Work cross-functionally to accurately reflect recent trends and achieve continuous improvement in demand forecast accuracy and other demand planning measures.
