Job Description

Job Description: The Machine Learning team aims to build online biometric system that look just like taking a selfie. As a Research Engineer of the Computer Vision team, you will be closely working with researcher scientists, back-end engineers and front-end engineers to transform and deploy research prototypes into production. We value engineers who are self-motivated and enjoy a highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: • Develop impactful and innovative computer vision technologies • Work closely with research scientists to deeply understand the developed research prototypes and transform them into production • Research and leverage new machine learning methodologies to improve current products and influence the future roadmap • Work closely with front-end and back-end engineers for production integration • Evaluate the technical trade-offs of every decision • Write production code that will be used by millions of users • Introduce major innovations that can lead to novel product features • Keep current with latest trends and technologies to help future research subjects and anticipate development needs

Requirements

• M.S. in Computer Science with project experience in the fields of Computer Vision, Data Science, or Machine Learning; B.S. in the same field with 3 years+ working experience in the industry • Outstanding programming skills Python and C/C++ • Strong algorithmic and code-level optimization skills • Expertise knowledge in Machine Learning, conventional and deep techniques • Knowledge and hands-on experience of applying machine learning and deep learning to real problems in the fields of vision and graphics • Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and to learn new technologies • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a start-up environment • Expertise knowledge of machine learning tools such as Scikit-learn, Numpy, Keras, Pytorch or Tensorflow Pluses: • Ph.D. in Computer Science with project experience in the fields of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, or Machine Learning • Experience in face detection and verification • Experience in live object detection in video sequences • Experience in 3D face modeling from images • Projects experience involving any type of facial image processing and analysis Application Requirements: • Applicants are advised to install our application on their mobile from uid.ir and become familiar with its diverse features.
