Job Description

Role objective: The Compensation and Benefits Partner (at Roche it is called Payroll, Time and Benefits Partner - PTB) provides customer service and advisory support regarding payroll, time, and benefits to HR and business partners in Pharma, Diagnostics, and Diabetes Care divisions at Roche Pars. PTB Partner ensures end-to-end process completion & ownership of resolution, with high integrity and in line with Roche data privacy guidelines. Responsibilities: ● Manage the payroll activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, social security, and other deductions. ● Ensure compliance with internal policies and processes, external regulations, and best practices. ● Manage the various mandatory reporting and declarations and interacts directly with the concerned internal and external stakeholders (amongst others: tax administration, Insurers for benefits, actuaries, etc.). ● Represent the affiliate in case of local competent authorities inspection or other audits, and provides records and documentation to auditors. ● Supervise time and benefits administration and reporting activities, provides expertise and advice for managing Benefits plans (healthcare, supplemental health insurance, liability, life, and accident insurance, etc.) both for Roche and for contractor employees. ● Manage data, systems, and processes for their area of expertise to ensure its integrity and ability to provide accurate and timely delivery of information and/or transactions ● Develop and maintain the payroll, time, and benefits relevant documentation. ● Provide appropriate answers, expert advice, and/or actions for routine and complex issues regarding a wide variety of payroll-related topics in complex environments. ● Conduct audits to ensure a high level of data integrity and compliance. ● Maintain and control the accuracy and quality of employee data (maintain the administrative files up to date locally). ● Participate in any pay, time and benefits projects with a high level of customer service and efficient engagement, and may coach colleagues to help develop their expertise/skills. ● Collaborate effectively with HR colleagues within the support solutions and people reward and recognition organization as well as with customers to ensure ongoing service delivery effectiveness.

Requirements

Who you are: In this role, you will be working within Roche Pars affiliate focusing on a customer group from Iran Pharma, Diagnostics, and Diabetes Care divisions. You bring the following skills and competencies: ● Preferably experience in a shared service center and in an HR/Finance services environment. ● Preferably HR generalist know-how. ● Preferably a proven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organization. ● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple, competing priorities. ● Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and multicultural environment working across borders. ● Experience effectively working in a matrix organization across geographies and divisions. ● Ability to navigate complex HR data structure. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. Further requirements: ● We are seeking an individual with a university degree or an MBA graduate in HR or Finance or similar fields and 3 to 6 years of related experience in compensation and benefits, service delivery, or customer care environment. ● Knowledge of Iran's Tax and Social Security laws. ● Strong communication skills in English are essential.
