Job Description
The Commercial Supervisor works directly with clients (agents) and various shipping groups to ensure shipments are properly entered into the destination country, scheduled, tracked, and delivered based on the customer’s requirements and satisfaction. Part of his/her role is managing the team, handling the re-export orders from suppliers in Far East countries, and selling to GCC customers.
● Following up orders with all involved parties, liaising with suppliers for timely delivery of orders until the project is completed and the customer receives them.
● Overseeing and completing accurate billing to clients based on established client pricing, while ensuring appropriate costs and profits are maintained.
● Ensuring regulatory requirements and proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, exists for shipments and are released to carriers, forwarders, customers in a timely manner.
● Running quality control seminars and technical training sessions for dealers.
● Visiting dealers to develop the business and perform marketing for new potential shops.
● Managing the warehouse storage, insurance, VAT statements, and similar activities.
● Developing and maintaining successful relationships with agents.
● Participating as an effective team member with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
● Working outside of normal hours of operation, as needed, in order to fulfill essential functions and responsibilities.
