Job Description

We are seeking to hire a backend Developer to join our online insurance company (AZKI).As a PHP Developer (Laravel), you will be part of our team located in Tehran. With a strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills, you will work in a team of designers, developers and functional management. You design on the basis of design guidelines and standards architecture, you build and test the software that is to be developed. In some cases you will test and evaluate the software developed by our (AZKI) platform development. You align on the best approach to fix bugs and you ensure that the software is ready testing in a user acceptance test environment. You also support the installation of the software on production. Responsibilities • Designing software according to the requirements and specifications of our clients • Building software • Technical and functional software testing • Coordination of the identified bugs with the software development partner • Supervising the user acceptance test • Software intake to production

Requirements

• HBO+ education • A minimum of 4-10 years of experience as a developer • Deep and thorough knowledge on Core PHP • Expertise in web application frameworks like Laravel, Codeigniter • Expertise in working with PHPUnit • Familiarity with CMS like Wordpress • Worked with front-end technologies such as Java Script, HTML5, CSS • Expertise in MySQL / database technologies • Know-how of object oriented PHP programming concepts • Knowledge and understanding of design principles behind building a scalable application • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git • Being able to work and contribute in Agile / scrum way of working • Excellent team player with good social and communicative skills • Being able to think as the end user and having customer focus • Having an experience working in international teams with varied cultures • Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills • Being able to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions • Excellent team player with good social and communicative skills • Flexible and committed to work. No 9-5 mentality and prepared to go for the extra mile when needed • Experience and knowledge of GIT.
