Job Description

Responsibilities and accountabilities • Full responsibility for achieving sales and distribution targets on assigned territory • ensures consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel • identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings and adequate distribution within all channels of trade • assesses the assigned market providing a commercial and technical basis for adequate positioning of TDR products • develops efficient business partnerships with agents, whole sellers and semi-whole sellers in order to promote TDR products and brands • develops and nurtures customer partnerships in order to maximize business opportunities with existing and potential whole sellers • Works closely with agents and whole sellers to provide category and shopper insights to drive performance • informs Trade Marketing Manager on the need of POS material and ensures successful implementation of POS material across the assigned region • ensures successful execution of trade marketing activities in the assigned region and provides effective and timely feedback on the success of such activities • coordinates agents on the assigned territory assuring their efficient performance in terms of adequate stock levels across SKUs in the warehouse • ensures that defined routes to market have been fully executed: on time, in right price and in sufficient quantity & correct quality • ensures and executes regular reporting on agents' stock levels and sales out information • defines daily, weekly and mothly routes of Direct Sales Representatives under responsibility • sets and monitors the execution of daily and monthly sales targets for DSRs • makes regular random back-checks on DSR's territory of responsibility providing feedback and implementing required corrective activities • monitors the activities of DSR, REP team and sales representatives • prepares regular reports on planned activities, completed activities, results as well as ad-hoc reports as required by Sales Manager • collects information on market conditions and sales activities from DSRs, consolidates regional reports and delivers such reports according to the set procedure • monitors and coaches DSRs in executing their daily activities ensuring that their attitude and market presence is in line with company strategies & tactics & targets through on the job & off the job sessions of guidance and trainings • provides monthly feedback to DSRs on the achievement of sales targets and develops a plan of corrective activities and further development potential

Requirements

Essential requirements • At least 3 years' experience in managing sales and distribution activities • FMCG or tobacco industry background is an advantage • Strong ability to develop and drive ambitious business growth activities • People management and people development skills • Highly skilled communicator and strong negotiation and influencing skills • Proficiency in using MS Office tools • Valid driver's license
