Job Description
- Control and supervise well operations in complicated conditions (well servicing and workover - WSW using workover rigs. WSW equipment and processes.
- Work with CT, work with slickline, well killing, put on production, well completion).
- Ensure that the field operates and complies with HSE rules and regulations of IRI as well as the ZNV/KNGP HSE IMS.
- Determine the cause of downhole equipment failure.
- Develop a well-servicing plan.
- Select the required equipment and tools (including fishing items) for well servicing.
- Manage WSW and exercise process supervision of such activities
- Take part in the preparation of the emergency operation program.
- Select candidate wells for workover with CT.
- Perform calculations for work plan preparation.
- Supervise such well operations.
- Act as a tutor and transfers knowledge to employees of lower level.
- Select the well-killing fluid type.
- Calculate the kill fluid density, volume, number of cycles, and injection mode for specific conditions with the minimum impact on the pay zone.
- Supervise well-killing operations.
- Provide audits and inspections including leadership safety audits.
- Prepare and provide statistical, managerial, and other required reports.
- Perform any related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Higher professional education (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Petroleum Engineering especially reservoir development or drilling Oil and Gas wells.
- Relevant professional certification or a postgraduate program is preferable.
- At least 1 year of managerial experience in the relevant professional area; 5 years of professional experience in drilling and workover.
- Intermediate English level, IT skills, WO database or equivalent.
