Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage WH & logistics in line with the global initiatives to ensure agility and responsiveness for local scenarios for effective utilization of resources, achievement of all business targets, and delivery of area performance measures.
Design and establish effective and efficient WH & logistics processes and services.
Provide cross-functional support to assist all stakeholders by improving Logistics to deliver on time, in full, and at the optimal cost.
Performance deliverables and drive improvements on compliance with target lead times in transportation, warehousing capacity utilization, savings and cost, and service level for the manufacturing process.
Ensure full HSE compliance in all factories and inside WHs.
Ensure that all MM policies and standards, and local regulations are followed in order to minimize the risk of accidents, occupational illnesses, or environmental impairment.
Ensure logistics service providers have effective and efficient sourcing and management.
Ensure the service provider (3PL) operation is within MM and local standards.
Develop and implement waste management, including waste collection, segregation, and dispatch (sales or disposal) in line with the global initiatives to ensure efficient and on-time reporting.
Drive logistics savings with network optimization and reduce excess spend on inbound, outbound, and internal logistics.
Manage WH capacity & pallet positions to an optimum level in full alignment with Planning.
Ensure compliance of direct reports to all applicable MM rules and local legal requirements in terms of HSE.
Proactively manage 3rd party logistics
Exploring and implementing cost-saving initiatives
Reporting NCL and addressing them timely manner to minimize loss
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, commercial principles, and practices gained within an operating company or related fields.
Bachelor's or Master’s (preferred) degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields from an accredited institution.
Previous experience in printing, packaging, and/or tobacco industries is an advantage.
Previous supply chain experience is an advantage.
Previous experience in an FMCG company/industry is an advantage.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Good knowledge of System Group Software (e.g., Rahkaran SW) is an advantage.
Fluent/Upper-intermediate in English.
Solid analytical skills.
Risk management skills.
Capable of facilitating standard SLAs with internal stakeholders and service providers.
