Efficiently oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing pharmaceutical products in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, ensuring real-time tracking of product quantities, expiry dates, and lot numbers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment and distribution.
Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure a high level of productivity and teamwork.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to create a secure and compliant work environment, minimizing risks and hazards.
Perform regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment, identifying maintenance needs and addressing any issues promptly.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and timely delivery.
Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization and streamline workflows.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing process enhancements that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Maintain strict adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
Prepare reports and documentation for management, showcasing warehouse performance, inventory levels, and compliance metrics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven 5 years of experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical warehousing practices, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and relevant regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software (Rahkaran System).
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
High level of integrity, ethics, and commitment to maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
Physical ability to handle and move pharmaceutical products, including lifting and carrying heavy loads if required.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours during peak periods.
