• Reviewing raw materials to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
• Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
• Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
• Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
• Consulting with the director, producer, and/or client throughout the post-production process.
• Experimenting with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements.
• Suggesting or selecting music.
