Job Description

Join our dynamic and innovative team as a trade marketing specialist at DigiExpress. At DigiExpress you work closely with B2B customers to understand their needs, provide marketing materials, secure deals, design promotions, offers, and campaigns, and monitor their activities.

This position contributes to DigiExpress by following these objectives:

  • Run lead generation campaigns to get in contact with potential customers.
  • Negotiate with key potential customers to generate sales-qualified leads and close contracts.
  • Initiate sales growth campaigns and trade promotions.
  • Contribute and execute point of sales branding, marketing, and control programs.
  • Conduct market research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups.
  • Monitor competitor activity through regular market visits and product tests.
  • Execute promoting, sampling, and product placement campaigns.
  • Study customer experience to run customer loyalty, engagement, and sales programs.
  • Ensure valuable relationships with partners and key customers.

Your day-to-day activities mainly include the following:

  • Market visits, monitoring competitor activities, pricing strategy, current promotions, and control merchandise across POS.
  • Responsible for trade marketing campaign reports.
  • Execute trade marketing initiatives including shop decorations, roadshow activities, POS furniture, and customized banners.
  • Keep in-depth connections with the sales team and selected accounts.
  • Hire and supervise a team of promoters to assist customer relations.
  • Work closely with sales teams to improve customer experience.
  • Assist design and creation of content and promotional materials for customers.
  • Daily calls and follow-ups with potential companies and stores.
  • Hold meetings, events, and seminars to engage key customers.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports about activities, KPIs, and results.

Requirements

  • Skilled in in-store visits.
  • Working knowledge of POS marketing.
  • Experience in business development and corporate contracts.
  • Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG non-food industries.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Fully acknowledged in marketing concepts.
  • Ability to hire, train, and work with promoters.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
