Job Description

  • Leadership role in implementing, adjusting to local needs, and developing POS material, based on the business team’s shopper marketing guidelines.
  • Ensure the company’s trade strategies are properly communicated and effectively planned and executed by the merchandising and sales operations teams.
  • Steward communication of weekly trade activation programs and commercialization updates to cross-functional team members.
  • Ensures coordination of quarterly sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with local teams to own local point-of-sale activation:
  • Plan and direct all print shop operations, including implementation and sustainability of standard operating procedures to track custom requests and prioritize workloads.
  • Maintain proper utilization of activation tools such as brand shopper toolkits and guidelines.
  • Supervise receipt, distribution, and allocation of POS materials to the regions’ operations.
  • Responsible for developing and producing custom signage to support marketing promotions and consumer communication.
  • Manages agencies to take projects after concept approval, to release of final art for printing materials, based on the company business team’s shopper marketing guidelines.
  • Order and track POS spending against the company business team’s property budgets.
  • Provide local marketing support for key account managers to build customer value leading to increased levels of sustainable execution and increased sales for both the customers and the regional sales organization.
  • Attend customer meetings to determine objectives and present collaborative marketing opportunities.
  • Develop and communicate written briefs for use by agencies and internal teams to direct their work activities to generate POS and added value.
  • Coordinate marketing programs between local accounts and assets, based on Key Accounts agreements and guidelines.
  • Responsible for merchandising material management including timely availability and distribution of additional elements such as racks and POS.
  • Maintain and grow the mutual value of relationships with presence marketing accounts in conjunction with regular promotional activities (i.e., local billboards, dressing company’s truck fleet with brand imagery, etc.).
  • Act as subject matter expert to ensure all custom POS protects the company’s rights, trademarks, and investment while serving the best interest of our customers and assets.
  • Develop annual trade budget and prepare related reports.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of managerial experience in consumer sales, trade marketing, or marketing (FMCG or retail company).
  • Experience in consumer products or food and beverage industries is preferred.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related fields.
  • Strong MS Office skills in Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Deep knowledge of sell-on and sell-out activities, sales operations, and sales planning.
  • Ability to train the sales team.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to present to individuals and groups.
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Fluent in English.
