Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Technical Writer with the ability to think both creatively and analytically. The candidate should be an independent learner with a keen attention to details. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating high quality and user-friendly user guides, manuals, help files, etc. in various formats (PDF, CHM, and HTML5) with Madcap Flare. The incumbent will be required to review programming notes and test the application to produce user guides with images and/or graphs with very high precision. The Technical Writer will cooperate with software developers and tester and review existing written contents regularly to update the information and enhance the design and structure of the user guide and user manuals for future releases of the application.
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field. (English, Communication, or Computer Science/Engineering) • Strong written communication skills with very high command of written English. • Understanding declarative languages (CSS, XML, and HTML) • Ability to meet deadlines (Prepare the final document and coordinate timing to ensure the deadlines are met) • Strong understanding of document formatting, presentation techniques, and writing styles • Quick learner with an aptitude for learning new software applications Bonus Skills: • Experience with Adobe Rob help, Madcap Suite especially Madcap Flare, Snagit, Photoshop, Adobe Professional, and MS Word. • IELTS (or other internationally recognized degrees) with high score in writing and reading section. • Project Management Skills
