Job Description
Responsibilities of a technical sales engineer include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with Hydac International Group on technical and engineering aspects of available systems and solutions.
- Build up strong relationships with customers and develop new accounts.
- Visit customers on a regular basis and provide technical presentations, engineering assistance, and service support.
- Provide training courses and transfer of Hydac International know-how to customers on application, operation, maintenance, and repair of the systems and components.
- Review customer inquiries and prepare quotations.
- Work closely with customers on application solutions.
- Contact potential clients through site visits, telephone calls, tenders, etc. to get their inquiries.
- Complete the purchase fulfillment process (from advance payment and order confirmation to shipment and delivery arrangements).
- Prepare reports on technical and sales activities and achievements.
- Initial review of customers' purchase orders and report the highlight points to the manager.
