Job Description
● Inventory control of branches according to supply chain policy to avoid any shortage regarding minimum cost. ● Be sure all orders are in place to meet the sales requirement based on the demand forecast. ● Close coordination with a direct line to fulfill their demand according to SC policy with the minimum cost. ● Make best order package to full truck loading and lowest inventory in branches. ● Measure and analyze related KPI's and follow the improvement project in this portion. ● Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. ● Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. ● Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. ● Interact with sales, marketing to understand demand forecast drivers. ● Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts. ● Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory. strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. ● Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning. ● Review sales and marketing plans. ● Achieve consensus for operational demand forecasts by facilitating demand meetings. ● Maintain demand planning system and software. ● Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the demand planning process.
Requirements
● Familiar with Supply Chain Management. ● Familiar with Inventory Control. ● Fluent in English or Arabic (writing and speaking). ● At least two years of experience in planning (FMCG experience is preferred). ● Fluent in Microsoft Office.
