To ensure MTNIrancell has a well-defined clear corporate strategic plan with divisional initiatives fully aligned with corporate strategy.
To ensure MTNIrancell's strategic plan is implemented, reported, and monitored through effective tools and processes.
To distribute, communicate, and track KPIs of the CMO and Marketing division.
To ensure internal alignment among MKT teams through designing, implementing, monitoring, and enhancing the related SLA, Policies, Processes, and Procedures.
To ensure that MKT OPEX is effective on a variety of media through OPEX management.
Responsibilities:
To manage teamwork and cross-functional interactions with other divisions and business units to ensure meaningful inputs for strategy planning, implementation, and monitoring.
To address the requirements of Board Members and High-level of the company in terms of Strategic planning and corporate directions and ability to manage the expectations in one comprehensive and unique plan.
To lead and manage to define long-term (3 to 5 years horizon) strategic objectives at the corporate level and well-defined vision, mission, and values by managing negotiations and taking inputs from all divisions and MTNIrancell leadership.
To collaborate and manage negotiation with all divisions to identify existing operational and new business opportunities through external audit exercises.
To drive and lead conducting external analysis including competitive analysis (Strategic product portfolio, corporate strategy, and operation, Competitive Profile Matrix analysis, etc.), global benchmark, Porter’s five forces analysis, stakeholder analysis, national up-stream document, PESTEL analysis, and other useful strategy formulation tools.
To lead and manage to be fully aligned with MTN Group strategy in the planning, execution, and monitoring phases.
To collaborate and manage negotiation with all divisions to identify existing internal operational bottlenecks and strengths through internal audit exercise.
To drive and lead business analysis to diagnose the current state and model future outcomes for better business performance through holding and managing several meetings with management.
To drive and lead conducting the corporate Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) using the information analyzed in the input stage.
To formulate the corporate strategies using the finalized SWOT and inputs from all divisions and manage to reach to consensus on corporate strategies
To manage corporate strategy initiatives by holding several meetings for alignment and initiative business cases.
To drive leadership-wide alignment and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives and projects.
To participate in the revision initiative sessions (and KPI sessions) with the management to ensure that the corporate initiatives (and KPIs) are fully aligned with the corporate budget approved.
To lead and participate in communicating the strategy to the employees, company board, and third parties (if it is needed).
To ensure that all MKT strategic initiatives are tracked and updated through the corporate strategy tracking tool ((QIP, OPCO, War Room, Management Forum, CEO General Reports, etc.))
To continuously monitor MKT performance KPIs and Initiatives and provide related reports (Weekly Tracker).
To liaise with the “Business Planning and Feasibility Study” team in providing a yearly budget considering the updated corporate strategic plan.
To analyze and manage monthly actual expenses of MKT and propose OPEX saving strategies and make sure that monthly accrual is based on received contracts and invoices provided to the finance team and to control and ensure the accuracy of expenses and make sure all activities involved with OPEX spent in MKT have signed contract or motivation, which is aligned with MKT budget
To manage reviewing, updating, and circulating MKT PPPs to be underway and ensure relevant PPPs are updated and aligned with the company’s PPPs and strategic goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Marketing, Communications, Industrial Engineering) or related fields.
Manager track record of 5 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/industry as per relevant role.
Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise (understanding emerging markets advantageous).
