Job Description
We are looking for an experienced tester with knowledge of and experience with test automation of web applications. The tester will be responsible for creating and maintaining test scripts using Selenium or other equivalent functional testing tools. Our tester has a true understanding of the test automation process and has developed an automation infrastructure. He/she has a great knowledge of structured testing frameworks, is motivated, proactive, and takes ownership. Role description: ● Create and execute test automation scripts using Selenium or Cypress. ● Conduct disciplined automation testing of product versions in multiple optimization environments. ● Assist with manual testing; execute manual test cases and scripts for products under development using test management/tracking tools. ● Create and maintain test plans, cases, scenarios/scripts, in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies. ● Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases and scenarios. ● Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. ● Generate test summary reports for management review. ● Analyze the root causes of performance issues and provide corrective actions. ● Support and assist the team members in related topics.
Requirements
● Strong knowledge of automation and performance testing best practices and methodologies. ● Hand-on expertise practical knowledge of automated testing tool Selenium, etc. ● Experience in performance and load testing. ● Experience in mock testing and mock frameworks. ● Experience using modern related methodologies including Agile, Scrum, CI/CD deployment methods. ● Automated script design, coding, debugging, and maintenance skills. ● Significant experience in writing, maintaining and executing test cases, continuously maintaining the automated test suite ● Good understanding of release management and how they integrate with quality checkpoints. ● Proven knowledge and understanding of test automation frameworks.
